Everything in my career has been preparing me for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be on the ground floor of changing the financial system and creating greater economic opportunities for everyone everywhere. It's LEGO Batman meets Star Wars -- building a team from three to 30, designing the strategy, the messaging, the narrative and virtual hand-to-hand combat on occasion to fight fear, uncertainty and doubt and represent truth, champion innovation and change hearts and minds for the company and leaders who are paving the way for the future of finance globally. In this mature start-up environment, I wear many hats from communications and impact leader to mentor and chief of staff. Here, I've learned that riding dragons is far more rewarding than slaying them.

Building a software start-up inside an industrial monolith is not for the weak hearted. With a blank page and immense vision, Honeywell Connected Enterprise's communication function has supported massive internal transformations to help create a software culture inside Honeywell and a compelling external narrative. It's often meant slaying dragons every day, night, weekend and holiday to realize the dream. From analyst and top tier media attention around Honeywell Forge -- our industrial software Enterprise Performance Management offering -- to virtual engagement strategies focused on I&D initiatives, leader engagement, and talent and culture transformations, the energy is palpable and the business is growing double digits.

U.S. Bank & Elavon (wholly-owned subsidiary) | 2008 - 2018 

A decade of progressive leadership began with Atlanta-based Elavon and was focused on building and leading a global communications and marketing organization at the payment services subsidiary of U.S. Bank. Executive visibility, public relations, global brand management and employee engagement were early hallmarks of my career at Elavon and eventually became my personal brand as I grew to take on greater responsibility across  U.S. Bank's Payment Services business line.  

 

Rising from Senior Director through the ranks to Senior Vice President, responsibilities included communication and government relations strategies, influencer and reputation management and managing a multi-million dollar budget, process integrations and metrics and reporting.

Packaged PR, Inc. | 2000 - 2008

At the behest of Board members of the Arthritis Foundation, Georgia Chapter, Packaged PR was created as an independent organization to assist board member physicians with PR and marketing needs in their respective practices. Following a 2003 departure from the Chapter, Packaged PR thrived, grossing $200,000 annually with client relationships including Mind Body Golf, Atlanta Magazine, Pike Nurseries and Elavon, among others.

Following volunteer appointment to a board committee in 1998 a full time, paid position was offered in 2000 to lead marketing and public relations across the State. Co-authored the first ever Georgia Arthritis Report
